Grace Jahdiel Biography

She was born on 11th November 1986, in Ikoyi, Lagos State, where she was brought up, She started singing as young as five when she joined her church’s choir and started playing the piano/keyboard at thirteen.
Jahdiel’s music genre was Afrocentric pop.
Talking about her style of music, she said: “I think the blend of the English pop with African music makes it very, very different.

If you listen to it for the first time you probably feel it’s not from Nigeria”.
Her musical influences include Kirk Franklin and Celine Dion

Education

She had her primary and secondary school education at Aunty Ayo International School, Ikoyi, And holds a BSc degree in Chemistry.

Career

Jahdiel joined her church choir at the age of five which exposes her to singing and vocation and had access to musical instruments which gives her the privilege to start playing the keyboard/piano at the age of thirteen.
